This is the personal blog of Pascal de Mul. Here I try to emulate what others are successfully doing: by sharing the snippets of the web that they find interesting, captivating, surprising they show a window into their world that in their turn is highly interesting, captivating, surprising to me.
This is therefore highly personal: these opinions are not necessarily shared by others, like my family, friends or colleagues. I try not to think of the ramifications that any of my publications might have, but I do want to make sure that I cause no harm. Therefore I will not post items that are too close for comfort. I realize that I am including a broad range of subjects here that I am likely to not to know the details of. None of my opinions here are therefore conclusive and they should not be seen as fact in any way. I am very open to hearing the other side if my opinions should be refuted. I will read all comments that try to do so and will correct when proven wrong.
For those of you who want to know my background: I am a Dutch man. I live in the Netherlands, close to Amsterdam. I have an English wife and a daughter. I have lived and studied in Delft, Amsterdam, London and Shanghai. I work in a startup.
