    VLC player yanked from iPhone AppStore citing “incompatibility between the GNU General Public License and the AppStore terms of use

    This may be bigger than just VLC. By now it is quite hard to build anything without ingredients based on GNU GPL. Is Safari Webkit not already based on it?
