To somebody to whom conference calls have been a fact of life for years, and who cannot remember life before Skype, this looks like a quirky, uncomfortable amateurish attempt.
But we should not forget that this is a great step forward. Cameron reaching out to Facebook is something we should all applaud, no matter how uncomfortable it looks.
