But then I saw the pixel-doubled version of my app in the simulator. It sucked, and it was completely unusable by my standards. I don’t think I’ll want to run any pixel-doubled apps on my iPad in practice.
Judging from Marco Arment’s comment (maker of Instapaper), nobody can allow people to see their iPhone App in pixel-doubled mode. And since Apple will not offer the choice of disabling that, every App maker had better start adapting. That means 150,000 Apps available on iPad soon.
